About me

An Msc Digital Marketing student at Nottingham Business School, seeking a 12-month placement in Marketing or Digital Marketing with an aim to develop a career in this field. Marketing is a passion and I am industrious, hungry and driven to excel. I am keen to experience challenging roles with a steep learning curve. In addition to learning marketing on the job, want to drive personal growth through leadership, teamwork, innovation and continuous learning opportunities.


Work Experience

Saanra Tech, Mumbai, India Internship (Marketing and Management) [1.04.16-1.12.16]

  • Worked in the marketing and management department to increase the sales for the company and managing the activities in the office e.g. answering phone calls and on-floor management.
  • Communicating with the clients and maintaining relations with them.
  • Collecting and maintaining the data of the company and the customers.
  • Marketing the products and services of the company on social media as well as made many posters, banners etc. using Adobe Photoshop and videos using Final Cut Pro.

Global Mode and Accessories Pvt. Ltd. Internship (Marketing) [1.05.17-8.07.17]

  • Worked with the Marketing team in order to drive sales in the International markets to boost the image of the company.
  • Maintaining records of the client-base.

Café Delhi Heights Internship (Marketing and PR) [27.11.17-22.12.17]

  • Worked closely with the Head of Marketing and Public Relations to increase footfalls and introduce new themes e.g. introduced a new 12 days of Christmas theme.
  • Explored various marketing techniques and data analytics to improve the restaurant’s visibility e.g. enhancing listings on Zomato, an Indian restaurant search website an other similar websites and social medias like Instagram and Facebook.
  • Solicited customer perception through feedback forms to enhance quality and dining experience as well as collecting and maintaining their data.
  • Organised and attended various public relations activities and events e.g. inviting food bloggers to the restaurant to drive sales.

R. P. Synthetics Internship (Marketing) [1.05.18-31.08.18]

  • Worked with the marketing team in maintaining relationships with clients (brands, parent organisations, traders and dealers) and communicating with them regarding updates in the fabric orders like delivery (fabric that is used to make the garment)
  • Contacting clients regarding any new order for fabrics and maintaining their data.

  • Pursuing Google Adwords.
  • Participated in 'Lala Premier League,’ a college event organised on stock exchanges.
  • Took part in a German exchange program in 2016 for three months, organised by the Rotary Club of Bombay-Midtown.
  • Completed a research-based project on ‘Celebrity Endorsement,’ a descriptive study displaying how celebrities influence customer’s purchasing power and their perceptions and created a report on the same, which was published in my college annual magazine.
  • Attended the Harvard Model United Nations, India (HMUN) and was a delegate of the SOCHUM committee, which was held in Hyderabad.
  • Head of Department (‘Creative’ Department) for my college event- ‘Tsunami’, an 8 day long annual management festival, where I led and assigned tasks across a team of students to ensure timely completion of tasks for the event. Enhanced my leadership, teamwork, coordination, time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Participated in the, ‘Thinkubator challenge’ organized by Nottingham Trent University, where I had a chance to work in a multicultural team.
  • Regularly presented in class activities in college and school on various topics- Sales and Distribution-Amway, Customer Behavior towards TV, Newspaper Advertising and Media, Rural Marketing Strategies-Amul and others.
  • As a PR activity for my college festival, ‘Tsunami’, I managed to promote the event on social media with 2 big Bollywood celebrities giving a shout-out for the same.
  • Received the Nottingham Trent University International Scholarship Scheme.
  • Actively managed stalls and helped coordinate various other college and inter-college events and festivals and various inter-school events e.g. ‘Rochak’, ‘Talaash’, ‘Lakshya’, ‘Mirage’ and ‘Tsunami Café’ at Lala Lajpatrai College.
